Αιγύπτιοι διαδηλωτές έχουν βάλει φωτιά σε αυτοκίνητα στην, δημιούργησαν οδοφράγματα και πέταξαν βόμβες μολότοφ σε αξιωματικούς έξω από την πρεσβεία των ΗΠΑ στο Κάιρο. Νωρίτερα, η αστυνομία έκανε χρήση δακρυγόνων και προειδοποιητικές βολές κατά του πλήθους.224 διαδηλωτές τραυματίστηκαν και τουλάχιστον 12 άλλοι συνελήφθησαν.
